Githyanki

The Githyanki the remnants of the elves that were ejected into the Astral Sea. They were turned into solders for the Illithid Empire. Githyanki are kept isolated from the rest of the Empire’s citizens. Particularly trusted Githyanki officers are given intellect devourers in order to give them psyonic and telepathic abilities. Given their affinity with dragons, only Githyanki are in the Illithid Empire’s Dragonrider Corps.
